I am an AI researcher. I completed my Ph.D. in the Knowledge Technology Group (WTM) at the University of Hamburg, Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Wermter. My Ph.D. research focused on identifying communication challenges arising from uncertainty, vagueness, and ambiguity in everyday human-robot interactions. It aimed to facilitate the development of human-like interactions at the object-state level by endowing robots with advanced visual perception capabilities, thereby supporting more effective human-robot interaction (HRI).
I am currently seeking a researcher or research fellow position in artificial intelligence, particularly in computational linguistics, embodied agents, and HRI. I am interested in bio-inspired learning approaches, rather than simply scaling up models with ever-increasing amounts of data. I welcome interdisciplinary collaboration with researchers in biology, psychology, ecology, cognitive science, and sociology.
I have also realized that an AI consultant role could be a good personal fit. I am interested in developing a second career or taking on part-time consulting work. Therefore, if there is anything I can contribute to your company, please feel free to drop me an email so that we can discuss potential opportunities.
I am a Goju-Ryu karate practitioner with an orange belt. I still have a long way to go, but I believe that enjoying the technical practice is more important than the belt level.
